Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $50 - $53
- Per Diem: Not available - Local candidates preferred
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 10-hour shifts | Some Saturdays as required
Project Scope: Installation of electrical systems | Underground wiring | Conduit support | Hot work | Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Required Experience & Certifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Safety Management/Construction experience
- At least 3 years of experience in safety management within mechanical, electrical, or data center environments, including electrical installations and high-risk safety protocols
- OSHA 510 Certification required
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
- Provide safety training as needed
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
- Implement lockout/tagout procedures, hot work permits, and electrical safety protocols
- Conduct daily safety huddles and toolbox talks to reinforce compliance with site-specific safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions
- Ensure proper documentation of near-misses, incidents, and safety violations, including reporting to upper management as needed
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction, mechanical, and electrical safety
