Job Details:
- Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
- Location: Kansas City, MO
- Duration: 6 Months (Start: Immediate Need)
- Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $56/hr Local or $48/HR non-local with perdiem
- Perdiem: $125/Day on seven days of over 50 miles from Kansas City, MO
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- Mon-Fri, 40 hours
Project Scope:
Oversee the safety of a structural steel contractor on a new data center build. Responsibilities include:
- JSAs
- Site Walks
- Audits
- Safety enforcement
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in construction safety management with data center/structural steel experience

Certifications:
- BCSP or 4-year safety degree (required)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
- Provide safety training as needed.
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience (a plus)
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
- Effective communication of EHS principles
