Job Details:
- Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
- Location: New Albany, OH / Columbus, OH
- Duration: 1-2 years (Start: Immediate Needs)
- Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $58-60/hr (overtime after 40), depending on experience and certifications (NO perdiem)
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- Days: 6 days/week (Monday- Saturday)
- Hours: 10-12hr shifts, 58-60hrs per week
Project Scope:
Oversee the safety management of electrical contractors on a data center project. Must be able to walk and be present in the field.
Responsibilities:
- JSAs
- Site Walks
- Audits
- Safety Enforcement
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in construction safety management with data center and/or electrical safety experience

Certifications:
- OSHA 510 (Required)
- BCSP Cert (Preferred)
- Bilingual (Preferred)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
- Provide safety training as needed.
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
- Effective communication of EHS principles
