Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Location: Victorville, CA
Duration: 4-6 Weeks (Immediate Start 3/17/2025)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $50/hr (overtime after 40)
• Per Diem: $125/Day on seven days
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

• Hours: Night shift M-Sat | 500pm -3am | 10hr Shifts | 60 hrs/week

Project Scope:
The Safety Manager will oversee the outage work for the cement facility. This includes Pipe Fitting, Welding, HVac, Confined Space Work, Fall Protection

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5 years in construction safety management
• Certifications:
  • MUST have MSHA Part 46
    MSHA New Miner Training
  • OSHA 510 with 5 years of construction safety experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
• Provide safety training as needed.
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications.

Skills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.
• Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Knowledge:
Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.
