Description
Under the supervision of the Logistics Analyst the Data Entry Clerk will support business needs across the organization by compiling and handling routine clerical tasks relating to entering, updating, and validating data. They will be required to ensure the data is accurate, up-to-date, organized and meets any contractual requirements.
Essential Duties and responsibilities :
- Updating, validating, and formatting data into databases and spreadsheets
- Manual typing of information and / or scanning physical documents
- Updating and maintaining existing data
- Organizing, maintaining, and creating digital files
- Assisting with generating reports from data
- Communicating with team members to clarify data requirements
- Ensuring data security and confidentiality
- Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Understands data confidentiality principles and follows them to the letter
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Retrieve and update source files
- Identify and troubleshoot report failures
