.Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barber Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. As an instructor, you will guide and inspire aspiring barbers, sharing your expertise and helping them develop the skills and knowledge needed for success in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students in shaving techniques, including hair cutting, styling, and coloring..
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in alignment with state board requirements and school curriculum.
- Provide hands-on training and supervise students' practical applications in a salon-like setting.
- Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and document progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and state licensing requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional learning environment.
- Support students in preparing for state licensing exams and career placement.
Qualifications:
- A valid Barber Instructor license in Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in the Barber industry.
- Teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
