Essential Duties
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of residents under the direction of licensed staff.
This care is ensured by performing the following :
Assisting residents with activities of daily living and performing procedures for hygiene and comfortFollowing individualized resident care plan team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed team membersMaintaining thorough electronic resident record in accordance with safety guidelines and providing social and emotional support to residents and resident familiesQualifications
Current Wisconsin certificate as a Nursing Assistant including annual 12-hour educational requirementAbility to handle crisis intervention situations as directed by care plan, facility protocol, resident rights etc.Basic level of computer proficiency, medical terminology and understanding of concept of comprehensive nursing care for a diversified populationWork Environment & Physical Requirements
