Coatings Batch Maker

Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Batch Maker to work at our Cedartown, GA facility. This role requires the ability to work safely with liquid and powder chemicals, perform basic math skills, read and follow batch recipe instructions adding raw materials accurately as detailed on the paint (product) recipe. This role will also require the ability to work independently and in teams.

Batch Maker: Pre-Mixer Responsibilities

· Locate and move raw materials in preparation for batch making. This tasks can include moving material with machinery such as hand trucks and/or forklifts.

· Add raw materials to a batch of paint in process with machinery (mixing blades in small or large tanks) that are in motion.

· Advocate for safety and quality by communicating any positive or negative observations to plant supervision.

· Communications with other team members for proper transfer of completed processes/tasks to ensure efficient process flow.

· Maintain work area, cleanliness, and quality while independently perform job functions.

· Required to follow all safety guidelines and rules and well as environmental regulations

· Use all required safety equipment.

· Able to stand for 8-10 hours.

· Able to lift 50lbs repetitively.

· Able to drive a forklift

· Able to wear dust/mask respirator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
