We are looking for a Junior DevOps/Developer Engineer to join our client’s team.
This is a direct hire role with our client with an anticipated salary range of $95-110k. This is a fully remote position within the United States.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in deploying applications and services in staging and production environments.
- Support CI/CD automation using tools including Puppet.
- Monitor and troubleshoot basic deployment issues under guidance from senior engineers.
- Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM) to support cloud infrastructure needs.
- Help write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts (Terraform).
- Assist in development of chatbots using LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
- Assist in basic prompt engineering techniques to optimize chatbot responses.
- Assist in integrating chatbots into web applications via APIs and SDKs.
- Participate in log monitoring and debugging using tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, or ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and automation.
- US Citizenship is required. Individuals must be able to successfully pass an in depth background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Puppet).
- Exposure to AWS services and cloud concepts.
- Some familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate services.
- Experience with front-end and back-end web application development using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, or .NET.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization for web applications.
- Knowledge of web security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Interest in chatbot development using LLMs or NLP models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with municipal or federal government agencies.
- Basic knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform)
- Familiarity with chatbot frameworks like LangChain
- Exposure to logging and monitoring tools
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
