Alaska Northstar Federal is currently seeking a Project Manager (Onboarding and Migrations) to join our high-powered team for a long-term, fully remote opportunity supporting a DoD program with the US Air Force.
The Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Candidate must be US Citizen
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum
Candidate must have active CompTIA Security CE or other applicable active 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Candidate must have 10 years' experience with the following:

The Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Leading client onboarding and migration activities.
- Facilitation of Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
- Collection of client onboarding/migration requirements
- Maintaining onboarding/migration tickets for SLA compliance.
- Support of ROM, coaching, and training activities for onboarding/migrating clients.
- Facilitation of retrospective sessions following client onboarding/migration activities
- Providing stakeholder updates/briefings.
Candidate must be US Citizen
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum
Candidate must have active CompTIA Security CE or other applicable active 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Candidate must have 10 years' experience with the following:
- Managing projects of progressively more complex system/software development as a team leader, manager, or project manager.
- Lead teams and facilitate large discussions.
- Technical competency to conduct Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs).
- Experience with the Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, JSM)
- Managing and facilitating system governance processes, including ticket queue management, governance request prioritization, and SLA management.
- Bachelor's degree
- Facilitating the onboarding of customers to the Atlassian tools including project scope definition, requirement gathering, complexity scoring, identification of new capabilities, and task management through the full project lifecycle.
- Experience with role-based learning paths and coaching for Agile Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) processes (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe).
- Skills for identifying/designing learning paths and best practices for client onboarding and migration projects.
- Ability to tailor training materials based on the specific needs of different teams and users.
- PMP Certification
