Lakota Solutions, LLC (LSC) is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist Lead to support a program in the Norfolk, VA location.
Position Responsibilities
- The Warehouse Specialist Lead serves as a working leader over employees engaged in the storage and distribution operations outlined in the PWS.
- The Warehouse Specialist Lead shall oversee day-to-day operations during the assigned shift, monitor productivity and make general work assignments.
- The Lead distributes and balances workload to improve workflow or to accommodate unexpected temporary increases in workload. Checks work in progress and answers workers’ questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directions. Informs workers of changes in policies and procedures.
- Spot checks completed work for compliance with the requirements on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines.
- Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract.
- Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a position of public trust/NACI.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
- Candidate must have experience in the use of MAT and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions, responds to computer output instructions or error conditions, and following regulations.
- Candidate must be knowledgeable in DD1348-1A receipt processing, Navy requisitions, inventory procedures, supply operations, data entry into personal computers and scanning devices, and possess an understanding of storage plans.
- Candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle and forklift license for forklifts up to 20K.
