The Blueprint Spirits Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of our spirits portfolio through strong relationship-building, strategic promotion, and collaboration with retailers, suppliers, and our internal sales team. This role focuses on both On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts and plays a key part in the continued growth of Seaboard’s spirits division.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Promotion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts, suppliers, and internal sales team members
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and follow up on spirit-related opportunities
- Present portfolio products and educate buyers on key features and benefits
- Promote new and existing brands through focused sales efforts
- Secure distribution and product placement for our portfolio of spirits brands
- Ensure optimal product placement, displays, and visibility in accounts
- Organize and execute tastings and sampling events to drive trial and sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide expert product knowledge and make tailored recommendations
- Respond to customer questions and resolve issues in a professional, timely manner
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience and act as a reliable point of contact
- Act as a liaison between Seaboard and retail partners
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with federal, state, and local alcohol laws
- Promote responsible alcohol consumption and service
Additional Duties
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
- Track inventory levels and support order accuracy
- Provide correct and timely pricing information to retailers
- Attend industry events, tastings, and educational sessions
- Create compelling, visually appealing sales materials to support key initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for spirits and a desire to educate and influence
- Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- WSET certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of Outlook, word, excel and google docs.
- 1 year of experience selling spirits or in a sales role within the alcohol industry
- Availability Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional evening/weekend events
- Access to a personal vehicle and a valid clean driver’s license (territory travel required)
- Must be able to lift 55lbs. to build displays and assist customers with inventory as needed
