Sheehy Auto Stores is looking for an experienced Automotive Office Manager at our Chantilly Location who is well-versed in most areas of automotive accounting. The Accounting Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dealership’s accounting department. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, managing the accounting staff, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, and providing financial reports to upper management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of automotive dealership accounting, and experience with dealership management software. The Office Manager will supervise, monitor, and train all accounting staff and assist the Controller in month-end closing reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller in managing staff and accounting duties
- Process dealership financial and accounting transactions such as bank statements, GL, Invoices, monthly reporting, expense schedules, etc.
- Reconcile the company's bank accounts daily.
- Reconcile credit card reports, receipts, and statements.
- Ensure incentives, floorplan interest, and warranty payments are timely
- Coordinate and source company purchasing, evaluate suppliers, and help negotiate the price
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of AUTOMOTIVE Office Manager experience
- Reynolds/Ignite experience preferred
- Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
- Personable, friendly demeanor with a "World Class" customer service approach to internal and external customers
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug test
