Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking an Experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk for our Parts Department. We seek talented individuals with automotive experience in to handle parts paperwork and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent computer and data entry skills with strong attention to detail. The ability to multitask coupled with organizational skills are essential to success.

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information
• Obtain payment authorization and pay invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, and preparing disbursements.
• Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds, preparing and mailing invoices, and identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
• Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions
• Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, or adjustments.

• Previous dealership experience and Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
• High school degree required; 2-year degree preferred
• Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Fast learner that is open to change and able to handle demanding environment
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, drug test, and valid driver's license
