Sheehy Subaru of Springfield is looking for an Upgrade Specialist to join our team. As the Upgrade Specialist, you will utilize various tools to help assist customers who may be interested in converting or upgrading their current vehicle. The ideal candidate will help provide an exceptional customer experience and achieve our sales goals through strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and results focus.
Responsibilities
- Utilize existing customer base with data mining tools to identify opportunities for vehicle upgrades
- Work with the Used Car Manager to identify current vehicle needs
- Use strong decision-making and active listening skills to think progressively about customer needs and service
- Educate customers on the options available through the Vehicle Exchange
- Meet and greet customers in the service drive to present cash offers for their vehicles
- Daily contact with our existing Customers through Phone, email, and in-person interaction; ongoing follow-up with customers
- Use friendly, no-pressure sales techniques that are focused on keeping our Sheehy customers in the right vehicle for their needs and budget
- Appraise vehicles & work with service advisor when necessary to determine work needed
- Work closely with the New & Used car Manager to determine trade values and replacement vehicle payments
- Be a liaison to customers while their car is being serviced
- Meet with the management team regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis
- Be outgoing, friendly, energetic, and professional with excellent customer service, attentiveness, and follow-up skills
Requirements
- Sales experience or experience in customer service such as retail, restaurant, call center setting, etc., is preferred but not required (sales training provided)
- Ability to learn data mining tools and software (eLeads experience a plus!)
- Strong customer service, organizational, relationship building, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships
- Driven, competitive, and willing to work in a team environment
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver's license
