- NC PPSB Unarmed Certified Preferred
- Clean Background Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Military, Law Enforcement, and/or security experience gets priority
- Have good report writing and communications skills
- Must have dependable transportation
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to provide quality customer service.
*Clear background and diploma or equivalent is required by the state for registration as a security guard.
Job Type: Part Time
Job Description: This is primarily a Friday and Saturday shift from approximately 10pm til 2:30 am each night. This position may also be called upon to cover a range of assignments, including filling in for call-outs, short-term contracts (e.g., wedding security or event security), and specialized tasks such as monitoring overnight construction sites.
Preference will be given to applicants willing to work in multiple locations .
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
Protect property from theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for security threats
Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secured
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of incidents
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns.
