What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Selector position at Shehadey Family Foods LLC?
Essential Functions :
This position is responsible for :
- Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
- Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
- Maintaining accuracy in picking orders.
- Maintaining proper product rotation. Checking all codes and stock in area.
- Maintaining a clean workstation at all times, including cardboard boxes.
- Getting empty cases for building of by-products.
- Getting tags for identifying stacks for loading.
- Taking all leakers to the reprocess area. Notifying Supervisor and / or Filler Operator if the leakers are coming from the plant.
- Maintaining appropriate dress and personal appearance standards.
- Knowing, understanding and adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Promoting and maintaining Company goodwill in all areas. Assisting others and performing other tasks as appropriate and / or necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Minimum :
Hourly Rate : $21.90 - $25.03
