What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor - Night shift position at Shehadey Family Foods LLC?
This position is responsible for training and coordinating nightly activities in the plant, overseeing the employees in several departments, and maintaining an efficient work environment. Promote teamwork and ensure we produce the highest quality dairy products available in the marketplace. This position is a night shift.
The salary for this position is $65K - $70K.
Essential Functions include :
- Supervise nighttime employees and production in all departments
- Responsible for maintaining food safety, food quality, and GMP's for the fluid milk, Ice Cream, Mix, Vault, Maintenance and cultured departments
- Oversee production planning for mix and milk departments
- Perform allergen swabbing / testing and ATP swabbing of fillers
- Review appendix N documentation from previous day and release milk for pasteurization
- Review receipts and utilization daily
- Check state record books to make sure all documentation is being performed throughout the week that pasteurizers are responsible for before starting
- Provide breaks, lunches and fill in for missing employees needed in all departments
- Troubleshoot washes and work with the sanitation team to get tanks ready for production.
- Provide support and guidance for sanitation team as needed. Trouble shooting washes, adjusting wash order as needed for plant efficiency, etc.
- Adjust production runs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Post and finish production as needed.
- Verify that ERMS matches production.
- Verify that regulatory seals are monitored daily.
- Review HTST and sanitation charts daily.
- Be involved with emergency evacuation programs.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Hold daily department meetings.
- Perform yearly operator evaluations.
- Assist in filling out incident and injury reports, ensure reports are completed properly and routed correctly.
- Review employee timecards, monitor hours worked and approve all overtime.
- Schedule shifts accordingly to make sure operators are working 40 hours per week
- Always look for ways to streamline production and become more efficient.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
