Summary
As a Scheduler at Sheila’s Angels Houston Home Care, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating care schedules for our clients. This position is essential in ensuring that our caregivers are matched with clients effectively, contributing directly to our mission of delivering high-quality, dependable care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure adequate coverage for clients' needs.
- Communicate with caregivers and clients to confirm appointments and address any scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain accurate records of client care plans and caregiver assignments.
- Assist in the development of care plans by gathering necessary information from clients and families.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and information security.
- Utilize scheduling software and administrative tools to streamline operations.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with management to improve scheduling processes and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the healthcare or home care industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules effectively.
- Familiarity with care plans and understanding of client needs is essential.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and other administrative tools.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and caregivers.
- Experience with insurance verification processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a compassionate team.
