We're seeking a motivated Associate Security Engineer (IAM) (Official Title: Associate Security Engineer I) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office, who will focus on securing both cloud and enterprise environments leveraging Microsoft technologies such as Entra ID, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in the Microsoft ecosystem to secure the business along with integrating AI-driven tools to enhance security measures. This is an opportunity to learn, gain hands-on experience in industry leading security standards, and make a lasting impact to the company’s security posture.

Job Responsibilities
- Identity and Access Management: Assist in the implementation, configuration, and management of Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) to ensure secure access to cloud and on-premises resources.
- AI Integration: Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate AI-powered security tools, such as anomaly detection and threat intelligence platforms, to enhance proactive defense mechanisms.
- PKI Support: Help deploy and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems, including certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation processes.
- Automation: Develops and implements automated solutions using programming languages to streamline security operations, integrate security tools, and ensure compliance.
- Policy Enforcement: Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies, including least privilege access, encryption standards, and compliance requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, processes, and incident reports to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest developments in security technologies, AI advancements in cybersecurity, and emerging threats through training and self-study.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in Microsoft IAM (Entra ID/Active Directory), Cybersecurity, or exposure to identity management (internships or coursework acceptable) is preferred.
- Interest in or basic knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in security (e.g., anomaly detection, threat prediction) highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Active Directory preferred.
- Exposure to scripting languages PowerShell, Python, Java, Golang for automation preferred.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, CompTIA Security , or equivalent are preferred.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- AI Curiosity: Enthusiasm for exploring how AI can transform security practices and improve threat detection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in configuring security policies, managing certificates, and monitoring access to prevent unauthorized activity.
