Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, with hands-on experience in various mechanical tasks. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. The Repair Technician will work closely with other team members to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform repairs on automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
  • Utilize welding techniques for metal repairs and fabrications as needed.
  • Conduct auto restoration projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Use power tools and airless paint spraying equipment for finishing work.
  • Prepare detailed auto estimates for repair costs and timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.

Skills

  • Proficient in welding techniques and soldering for repairs.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair.
  • Familiarity with auto restoration processes and dealership standards.
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience with airless paint spraying for vehicle finishing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
  • Year round work

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission pay

Experience:

  • Auto body repair: 5 years (Required)
  • Auto painting: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English / Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Louisville, KY 40222 (Required)
