SUMMARY :
This is a business start-up associated with LMMC Holdings LLC. We are looking to make a huge impact in this category as a whole. This is a licensed health care professional role that specializes in diagnosing, treating and managing various skin conditions, disorders and diseases providing comprehensive care to patients seeking dermatological services. They will play a vital role in promoting skin health, diagnosing skin issues, developing treatment plans, and educating patients on proper skin care practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and assessment of skin conditions.
- Diagnose and differentiate between various dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections and skin cancers
- Utilize clinical judgement and diagnostic tools to accurately diagnose skin disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients considering medical history, skin type and individual needs
- Prescribe medications, topical treatments or other interventions based on evidence-based practices and guidelines
- Educate patients on skin conditions, treatment options and preventative measures, skincare routines, and sun protection to promote skin health
- Address patient concerns, questions, and provide information about potential side effects of treatments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including medical history, assessments, treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to patient recordkeeping and confidentiality.
- Stay up to date with advancements in dermatology through continuous education and professional development, new treatment modalities, medications and technologies in the field.
- Monitor and track patient progress through follow-up appointments
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient response and changing clinical needs
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
