DescriptionDEPARTMENT : Resource DevelopmentREPORTS TO : Vice President Resource DevelopmentCompensation : $60,000 - $65,000PRIMARY FUNCTIONUnion League Boys & Girls Clubs (ULBGC) is seeking an Assistant Director of Corporate Giving and Special Events to lead new corporate partnership development and coordinate signature events. This position will focus on increasing and diversifying revenue streams through impactful corporate giving initiatives and special event fundraising to support ULBGC's mission. Based in Chicago, the role is critical to achieving the department’s annual revenue budget of $3.6 million, with a personal annual fundraising goal of $1 million.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESFundraising (80%)Build and manage a portfolio of 120 corporate donors and prospects capable of making gifts of $10,000 annually.Achieve an annual fundraising goal of $1 million, including retention of current corporate partnerships and a 10% annual funding growth.Conduct 20 donor visits monthly, with at least 80% in person.Submit a minimum of five solicitations or proposals monthly.Develop and execute corporate outreach strategies to cultivate new partnerships while retaining and upgrading existing donors.Ensure timely renewal and stewardship of event sponsors with clear pre- and post-event plans.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify innovative engagement opportunities for current and prospective donors.Create tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship materials for corporate and foundation programs.Maintain up-to-date donor records in MyClubHub (MCH), ULBGC’s Salesforce CRM platform.Provide weekly progress reports on fundraising activities and goals.Special Events (20%)Plan, develop, and execute key fundraising events, including Youth of the Year, Blue Door Gala, Wine Dinner, and additional special events.Recruit, engage, and manage volunteer committees to support event fundraising efforts.Oversee event logistics, including silent and live auctions, paddle raises, program run-of- show, and related components.Develop and manage marketing materials to support event promotion.RequirementsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSProven ability to cultivate, solicit, and close gifts of $10,000 with persistence and professionalism.Track record of building new donor relationships through prospect research, cold calling, and canvassing.Experience developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising plans, with the ability to assess outcomes and adapt strategies.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a consistent and compelling messaging style.Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks.Skilled in relationship-building with a variety of stakeholders, including staff, board members, volunteers, and community leaders.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of three years of experience in fundraising, with a track record of achieving goals.Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
