Description
The A / V Technician provides post-sales support for audio visual integration, configuration, and commissioning, as well as escalated support for established A / V systems. The A / V Technician will go on-site during installations to verify the installation and complete the integration by commissioning the system, training the customer, and closing the job. The A / V Technician will also maintain existing customers if there is an issue with their products. This may be virtually or on-site. Travel will be 70%-90%.

The successful candidate will have experience in :
- Telephone and onsite support of established A / V systems.
- Configuration and commissioning of A / V systems ranging from single room systems to multiple combinable rooms, to highly advanced operation centers.
- Extensive experience with Crestron programming / commissioning, Biamp / QSC DSP setup and commissioning, and go-live techniques for major vendor endpoints.
- Extensive experience with AV over IP, HDBaseT, Dante, AVB, and other industry standard transports.
- Extensive experience with installed conferencing (voice and video) systems, council chambers, and multi-room campus-wide systems.
- Extensive experience with wired and wireless microphone technologies, as well as permanently installed commissioning of these components.
- Project coordination, communication, and onsite close-out with project managers.
- Technical customer support experience.
