Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries.We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Senior Civil Designer position in our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.Pay : $82,000 – 108,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.SENIOR CIVIL DESIGNER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Create construction documents for municipal and private engineering projects including sanitary sewers, storm sewers, site plans, and minor roadway projects in conformance with client requirements and company standards.Create plan, profile, and cross section views utilizing Pipe Networks and Corridor Modeling in AutoCAD Civil3D.Develop 3D digital terrain models using survey information.Implement different drafting and engineering standards.Other duties as assigned.SENIOR CIVIL DESIGNER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS : Qualifications : 10 years of related experienceExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D requiredAbility to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.Ability to develop junior staff.Strong written and oral communication skills.LJB Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer including veterans / disabilities.
