DescriptionTerraphase Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in one of our California, Nevada, or Oregon offices. As a Senior Water Resources Engineer at Terraphase, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing water resource projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and addressing complex water-related issues.The RoleLead and manage water resources projects, from planning and design through to construction and completion.Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, and simulations.Develop and implement sustainable water management solutions.Provide technical expertise in stormwater management, flood control, water quality, and watershed management.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions.Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documents.Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.Who You AreBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources engineering.Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, FLO-2D).Strong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.Excellent project management and leadership skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.Design / AutoCAD skills are a plus.BenefitsTerraphase offers an extensive benefits package including; Medical, Dental, Vision, Employer Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, a generous 401(k) match, Commuter Benefits, TerraLunches, TerraTalks, Tuition / Licensing / Professional Development Reimbursement, Flexible Work Schedule, ongoing company-sponsored events.EOE STATEMENTTerraphase is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to an inclusive & diverse work environment where individual strengths and diverse viewpoints are respected and complement each other to achieve common goals.
