    What You’ll Do as a Community Manager :

  • Perform property inspections on a routine basis to ensure the visual appeal of the property and to maintain hazard-free conditions.
  • Prepare, execute, and monitor the operating budget.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and supervise all on-site staff.
  • Ensure that collection procedures are followed, and court papers are filed correctly and on-time when necessary.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and make-ready staff to ensure timely recondition of apartments after move-out.
  • Ensure that all rents are collected when due and posted on time. Make sure that all bank deposits are made immediately, and deposits are reported to the corporate office daily.

  • Managing People – Includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating, and process improvement; Takes responsibility for subordinates’ activities; Makes self-available to staff; Provides regular performance feedback.
  • Cost Consciousness – Works within approved budget; Contributes to profits and revenue; Develops and implements cost-saving measures; Conserves organizational resources.
  • Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains the reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in the decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.
  • Requirements

    Licenses and Certifications :

    A valid driver's license.

    Experience :

    One to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience and other certifications / licenses as required by local jurisdictions.
