Position Summary : A Graphic Designer - Infographic Specialist is responsible for creating high-quality, accurate, and creative artwork promptly that meets the needs of clients and fulfills their editorial responsibilities. Editorial production includes laying out pages and creating infographics, charts, and maps to supplement the editorial stories that are creative, easy to understand, and tell the story visually. Advertising production includes working closely with the sales staff to create, modify, and update advertisements in time to meet monthly advertising deadlines.
NOTE : While our office location is in New Braunfels, this role will cover updates for New Braunfels, San Marcos, Buda, Kyle, and Northeast San Antonio.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related coursework
- Able to work three days on-site at our New Braunfels office and two days of telework.
- At least one (1) year of prior experience in graphic design
- Proficient in using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google equivalents)
- Experience creating ads, infographics, charts, and / or maps
- Experience with file preparation for CMYK output
- Ability to pass the Company’s graphic design test

Supports mentoring and training new Graphic Designer - Infographic Specialist when necessary
