Third Shift Plate Packer needed on night shift.
The Packer role involves accurately packaging paper plates and palletizing them for delivery. This position is on the night shift, 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Sunday through Thursday. This schedule offers the benefit of no weekend work and no overtime requirement. We also provide affordable health insurance, vacation time, and paid sick days. The hourly wage for this position is $17.75, which includes a $1.00 night shift differential.
This position is supervised by the Workshop Unit Coordinator or floor Supervisor whom is responsible for efficient operation of the plate machines. The plate machine packers operate machinery in compliance with OSHA and the Agency Safety Standards. The Packer will work the hours assigned and they are responsible for packaging a good quality plates and plate counts are correct and the boxes have the correct labels, etc. It is also the job of the packer to notify the floor supervisor of any discrepancy with the finished plate product. Packers will be expected to complete and all other duties deemed necessary.
