Minimum Qualifications
1. Four (4) years of managerial experience in information technology activities, including technical budget and procurement administration: AND
2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business administration, or a closely related field; OR
3. An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
4. PMP certification is preferred.
5. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of IT projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
2. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirement, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
3. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
4. Develops and manage project specifications, technical design and requirements.
5. Sets project timelines, milestones, and deadline.
6. Sets the prescribed quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project.
7. Coordinates work with cross-functional team leaders and monitoring and reporting on project status.
8. Organizes and trains on-site staff to the requirements of the project and assures that those individuals whose functions require the knowledge and understanding of certain documents and procedures, receive and understand that information.
9. Manages the entire business service along with its underlying components in a cohesive manner and ensures that every aspect of a service is considered so that the required functionality and service levels are delivered appropriately.
10. Utilizes skills to run multiple projects as efficiently as possible.
11. Assigns tasks to staff consultants and supervises work.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
