Minimum Qualifications
1. Four (4) years of responsible work experience in receiving and stocking materials, tools, supplies, and equipment or related experience; and
2. High school diploma or possess a GED.
3. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Receives, stores, and issues spare and replacement parts, expendable items, tools, and equipment to authorized personnel in accordance with established procedures.
2. Posts items from stock to work tickets and maintains related records.
3. Orders parts from vendor’s catalog according to requisition specifications to stock equipment for the department or agency.
4. Prepares itemized order blanks and the copies of requisitions and purchase orders.
5. Stocks shelves and dispenses parts to authorized personnel.
6. Picks up and delivers laundry to the floors.
7. Keeps perpetual inventory of stockroom contents, deliveries and issues, size of containers, number per cases, and sources of purchase.
8. Takes periodic physical inventory to check against card inventory.
9. Keeps storage areas clean and rotates stock so that supplies of any item on hand the longest are moved out first.
10. Supervises assigned personnel.
11. Performs other related duties as required or directed.
KSAs
1. Knowledge of business arithmetic and Business English, along with knowledge of stockroom techniques.
2. Ability to maintain a system of records according to prescribed criteria.
3. Ability to allocate material and cross-file.
4. Ability to inspect goods for quantity and quality.
5. Adequate supervisory ability.
6. General knowledge of computer terminal operations.
7. Ability to input and extract information regarding parts from the computer.
8. Ability to establish an effective working relationship with fellow employees and other departments.
Special Requirements:
1. Must be available for shift, weekend, and holiday work as required.
2. Must be able to work in a jail/secured environment.
3. Must pass a physical examination.
4. Must pass a criminal background check.
