Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glass Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction-related tasks and a solid understanding of glass installation and repair. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Glass Technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards on project sites. Valid Montana driver's license required. Certifications and/or licenses a plus! Will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace glass in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and understand project requirements.
- Fabricate glass components as needed for specific projects.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct project assessments to determine the scope of work and materials needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in glass installation or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with stud framing, drywall, construction painting, and carpentry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment relevant to the trade.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
