Work is performed under the direction of the Recreation Program Supervisor and Tennis Supervisor. Performs physical work teaching and supervising patrons on tennis.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Supervise program participants; Implement tennis activities and provide instruction to participants on specific activities; Maintain equipment and facility in a clean and orderly manner; Assures the safety of patrons of all ages. Instructs patrons as relates to tennis center rules, regulations, and procedures; Communicate effectively with participants, parents, staff regarding rules, questions, and concerns; Prepares written and oral reports and performs related tasks as required; Comes in early If needed to help make sure water is out on tennis courts daily along with the tent if needed;Conducts first aid procedures as necessary; Follows City of Shelby safety, personnel, and administrative policies and procedures.
