The Charter Township of Shelby is now accepting applications for a part-time / seasonal position for a Heritage Garden Attendant. The hourly rate for this position is $16.16 per hour. Some of the job duties associated with this classification would include, but would not be limited to :
- This position requires availability mostly on weekends, but some weeknights are also required.
- The Gardens Attendant unlocks and locks the gates at Heritage Gardens for wedding photos, rehearsals, ceremonies, and family, prom, and other photos on scheduled dates.
- The Gardens Attendant also places and removes ceremony chairs when they are rented.
- Ensure that only the reserved parties are allowed into Heritage Gardens during their designated time.
- Hours each week will vary depending on bookings, but will average about 8-10 hours each week (in season May-October).
