Position Overview:
The Operator reports to the Line Leader and is responsible for executing daily production tasks to meet assigned targets while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth production operations by following standardized procedures, identifying and reporting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute production tasks as per the production schedule and team leader’s instructions to achieve assigned targets.
- Adhere to standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Follow the “Three No’s” principle (Do not accept, produce, or pass defects) to maintain product quality and reduce defects.
- Monitor and control preceding and subsequent processes, identify abnormalities, and report issues promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and tooling inspections as required.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Ensure fire safety compliance within the assigned workstation or operational area.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors or leadership.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Willingness to work with low-voltage or high-voltage electrical systems; relevant experience is a plus.
- Understanding of basic safety, quality, and production processes.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to operational needs.
