Shelbyville Manor is seeking qualified part-time Residents Assistants (RA's) for our beautiful retirement community. We have openings for 2nd shift, 2PM-10:30PM. Residents Assistant (RA) Responsibilities:
- Assist CNA’s with making resident’s beds; ensuring resident rooms, common areas and nurse’s station is orderly.
- Assist with the admission and discharge or residents. Introduce resident to facility; setting up room, labeling clothes, performing inventory and proper placement of belongings.
- Ensure hydration tasks are carried out by passing beverages to all residents.
- Assist with delivery of snacks.
- Complete Feeding Assistant Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Answer call lights and assist residents with needs that do not require direct care and seek CNA assistance with direct care requests.
- Assist with the stocking and inventory of clean utility rooms and carts.
- Attend in-service training that is appropriate to assigned duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
