Childcare Provider-After School Crew Care

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in their care. This role requires a passion for working with children and the ability to foster their development through various activities and interactions.

Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Assist with homework and provide tutoring support as needed.
• Engage children in sports, games, and creative play to enhance their physical skills.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Provide first aid when necessary and ensure a clean and organized environment.
• Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in babysitting, daycare, or early childhood education is preferred.
• Background in sports coaching or tutoring is a plus.
• Experience working with students or in special education settings is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude towards children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.75 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
