Veterinary Room/Treatment Technician
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and place them in patient exam rooms.
- Obtain a brief history and the TPR of the patient.
- Assist the veterinarian with exam and treatments administered during the visit.
- Perform duties associated with in house pharmacy.
- Safe and effective restraint of all patients throughout visit.
- Take digital radiographs.
- Create estimate covering all treatments and procedures associated with appointment.
- Enter all charges associated with visit.
- Assist the surgery technician with preparation of patients for surgical procedures.
- Monitor and administer treatments to hospitalized patients.
- Obtain samples for in house as well as reference laboratories.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of vaccination recommendations based on patient’s species, age and vaccine history.
- Minimum of one year of experience performing all tasks listed above.

Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday standard business hours.
- This is an in-office position.
Compensation:
- $20-$25 per hour.
