The Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive customer service atmosphere in the front office. The position works closely with all stakeholders to ensure attendance is appropriately taken and reported to the office. This position Is responsible for creating a positive customer service environment in the front office. You will greet visitors and ensure the school's security by monitoring access, checking visitor credentials, etc. You will answer calls, transfer calls as necessary, and take messages and ensure they are passed to the appropriate staff member promptly. You will handle questions and complaints via phone, email, and general correspondence Provides office professional services for other campus team staff members as needed. in support of the ongoing successful operations of the campus.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance
Ability to meet established deadlines
Collect and enter attendance into the established database and verify accuracy according to established procedures
Bilingual preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties :

Greet visitors
Secure the campus by monitoring access
Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the reception area
Answer incoming calls and / or return calls in a timely manner
Keep files / records maintained in a secure location
Records, Reports, and Correspondence
1. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and local board policy.
2. Prepare correspondence, forms, and reports as instructed by department administrators.
3. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
Communication
1. Maintain a positive and effective relationship with coworkers, supervisors, District officials, employees, vendors, and the general public.
2. Provide outstanding customer service.
3. Maintain good judgment and decision-making when dealing with supervisors, co-workers, District officials and employees, and the general public.
Other
1. Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information when received and distributed to appropriate designees as directed by the building Principal and / or the Data Quality Department and following federal and state law and district policy.

Position cannot be performed remotely
