Responsibilities

- Operate the cash register and manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately.
- Provide product demonstrations and share knowledge about features and benefits to enhance customer understanding.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that meet customer needs.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers effectively.
