Guest Service Agent
Departments: Front Desk
Basic Function
To ensure guest satisfaction by facilitating a pleasant check-in/check-out, taking care of guest requests and answering phone calls.
Responsibilities
- Must adhere to Shell Island Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensuring guest experience at Shell Island is top notch
- Answering phones professionally and making reservations
- Checking guests in/out of hotel
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to satisfy guest needs
- Keep an organized space and prepare team members for future shifts
Physical
Requires grasping, bending, twisting, writing, standing for up to 8 hours at a time, some sitting, walking, repetitive motions, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pound.
Skills
Good communication skills, problem solving skills
