Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Field Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in inspecting properties, assisting clients with insurance claims, conducting repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include various hands-on tasks such as sample pulling, property inspections, minor repairs, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Pull shingle samples from roofs for analysis and documentation.
- Attend insurance adjuster meetings to advocate for clients and facilitate claim processes.
- Inspect properties thoroughly to assess and document damage accurately.
- Perform handyman services including patching, painting, small roof repairs, etc.
- Conduct final inspections after installations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collect payments from clients and complete necessary paperwork such as contracts and invoices.
- Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of materials, ensuring availability for projects and repairs.
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 80lbs as needed.
- Sale clients on roof systems and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction, roofing, or related fields.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Strong understanding of property damage assessment and repair techniques.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently and effectively.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with insurance claims and adjuster processes.
- Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, and roofing repairs.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role resolving client concerns.
