Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician

- Responsible for performing and manage quality control testing and acceptance of asphalt and aggregate materials.
- Work with Federal and Local agencies as well as plant and field personnel to ensure product meets specifications.
- Maintain and manage complete record keeping in network system and log books
- Perform and maintain calibration, certification, maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of lab equipment and facility.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, required
- Driver’s License with good driving record required
Must pass drug test. Shelly and Sands, Inc is a drug free workplace.
Skills/Abilities
- Good communication, documentation, and observation skills
- Ability to work well within a team and as an individual.
- Safe working practices in construction and industrial environments
- Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willing to work overtime and occasional night shifts
- Positive attitude

- Indoor and outdoor work
- Laboratory, Construction, and industrial working conditions
- Must be capable of physical labor, must be able to lift 50lbs.
