Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Manage office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimal wait times.
- Maintain accurate patient records and oversee billing processes to ensure timely payments.
- Implement and manage office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care and effective communication within the team.
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Utilize practice management software such as Eclinicworks for efficient administrative support.
Skills
- Strong background in office management within a medical clinic setting.
- Knowledge of managed care principles and medical management practices.
- Familiarity with practice management software Eclinicworks is a plus.
- Previous experience as a nurse or in veterinary medicine is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
