What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Detailer position at Shelor Motor Mile Inc?
Shelor Motor Mile has immediate openings for Automotive Detailers. Detailers are responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles, conforming to dealership and manufacturer specifications.
Job Duties:
- Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs
- Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface
- Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply agents to revitalize and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals
- Clean engine and engine compartment
- Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Use dyes and other appropriate materials
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License, with driving record acceptable to company insurance
- Previous Automotive Detail experience required
