Title: Bilingual Leasing Agent
Department: Operations
Reports To: Property Manager
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $17.00 - 19.00 per hour commissions and bonuses, depending on experience and qualifications
Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities:
The leasing specialist is responsible for managing all activities with potential residents and existing residents, including conducting tours, preparing paperwork for potential residents, market surveys, leases and other reports. In addition, this position is responsible for the following:
- Provide tours of individual units and community to potential residents
- Keep records of both phone and walk-in traffic
- Conduct market surveys
- Assist compliance team in recertifications
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications
- Process rental applications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Property Management
- Preferred prior experience in subsidized housing, Section 8, RAP, or other.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Spanish & English verbal, reading, and writing skills.
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to self-direct as well as work effectively on a team
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
