Location: Onsite @ Naples Shelter location
Reports to: Chief Programs Officer Employment Type: Fulltime, Exempt
Salary: Determined based on experience, local wages, and nonprofit industry rates.
The Impact of This Position:
The Naples Outreach Manager leads impactful programs that support survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. You will guide a dedicated team of nine advocates, providing crisis counseling, advocacy, and support services for survivors.
Non-Negotiables:
- Bachelor’s degree and experience managing a team or equivalent experience; Master’s degree and nonprofit experience preferred.
- Valid FL Driver’s License.
- Must pass state & federal background checks, provide satisfactory references, and drug screening.
- Successful completion of The Shelter’s Core Competency training upon hire.
- Completion of first aid and CPR class.
- Proof of COVID19 vaccinations or exemption.

What You’ll Do:
- Advocate for participants with community agencies to build a robust support network.
- Build and strengthen community partnerships and identify new outreach opportunities.
- Collaborate with The Shelter’s Program Managers to oversee participant case management.
- Conduct weekly and monthly audits on participant files.
- Coordinate and document services for program participants.
- Embrace and emulate the empowerment advocacy philosophy.
- Encourage staff involvement in decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Children and Families Program Standards and grant requirements.
- Manage and track programmatic deliverables and team performance indicators.
- Manage time, projects, and multiple priorities effectively.
- Offer crisis de-escalation and trauma-informed support, as needed.
- Supervise and mentor outreach staff, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth.
