E&O Adjuster
$19.25 - $31.68 / hour
What You Will Be Doing :
Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and settle insurance claims involving professional liability claims related to Shelter’s Agent’s Errors & Omissions Policy claims.
These also include issues related to underlying policy claims for any type of Shelter or non-Shelter policies, including injury losses, real and personal property damage losses, and auto physical damage losses.
Perform complete professional liability and coverage investigations. Determine validity of claims, verify coverage, establish value of losses, and negotiate settlements within limits of authority, consistent with established procedures and legal and contractual obligations.
Coordinate claims handling of branch and independent adjusters. Must work flexible hours to maintain core business hours for customers in all U.S. time zones.

- Ability to learn through on-the-job training and training courses related to the study of insurance policy coverage
- Exhibit strong skills in technology
- Flexibility to travel overnight as job requires
- Efficient in time management to maintain schedules and deadlines
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
