Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout the store.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas including restrooms, back rooms, and customer service areas.
- Able to unload delivery truck
- Able to lift and move heavy merchandise
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of facilities maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform custodial duties efficiently with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is preferred.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Able to communicate in English
