Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist Float to join our outpatient team. This position is based out of the Bon Air Center but will float to provide coverage to our other outpatient centers for orthopedic and neurological conditions. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers.
Qualifications And Skills

Qualifications And Skills
- Experience/expertise in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
- Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
- Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
- Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
